This page is dedicated to the many social events hosted by the Lodge of St. Michael No 7833 during the course of a year. At these social functions we catch up with old friends, make new friends, enable our guests to see what the social side of Freemasonry is all about and of course raise money for charitable causes.
Christmas Lodge, Thursday, December 20th 2007. After the brethren had battled their way through the late night festive shopping traffic the passing of Bro. Sandy Beacock got underway and by 8.00pm the Lodge was being closed and the brethren were making their way down to the festive board. With the Ladies and guests already assembled the social part of the evening got into full swing. A traditional Christmas meal was served after which entertainment by The Daggard Players began with a rendition of the Whiffenpoof Song dedicated to Bro. Norman Richards. Carol singing followed before the presentation of "A St. Michael Christmas Carol" adapted from the novel by Charles Dickens by Bro. John Wheeldon and performed by W. Bro's Terry Lynn & Eddie Wildman, Bro. John Wheeldon and Mr Christian Newlove. The evening concluded with more carol singing and the finale of the twelve days of Christmas with the Worshipful Master making and excellent Partridge! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
